First round win over Austria.

The tournament got underway today for team Holland 
As I said, we faced the tough young team of Austria. You could tell that we prepared well in the doubles, cause we came out the gate real strong. Huidji and me won 6-2 and Alex and Nick won 6-3.
That put us 2-0 infront but not for long....I had to play Albin Ouschan and Nick faced Martin Kempter. In all games all the balls are tapped and the 1ball is on the spot.....
I fell behind 2-6 and Nick 0-5. We fought back hard but I lost 6-8 and Nick 5-8. That meant 2-2 and Huidji and Alex also fell behind in their 10ball matches!!
I was just hoping for 3-3 at that point and for the shoot-out...The momentum completely chanced however and Huidji won 7-3 and Alex 7-4. The example of a team effort. All 4 starting strong, 2 losses but the other 2 teammates pick up the goodies and finish the job
Tuesday vs Russia.
