Eurotour Weert.
Whaz up!
Found a computer here in Weert 
Arrived here on Wednesday and practiced some with Huidji See in the late afternoon. Had dinner and after that I was told to have an interview with the biggest national sports program "Studio Sport" at 21:00. I waited in the hotel lobby and Willem la Riviera from the Dutch Billiard Federation picked me up and walked with me to the poolroom.
Once I entered the room, it was all a set-up!!!!! Harry Diks started announcing my entree and there was about 40 people around the arena, where I had to enter. It seemed everybody was there for me, but I still had no clue for what!!?? 
After speeches from Harry and National coach Johan Ruysink, I still had no clue. I was very distracted though to see so many familiair faces in the crowd, like my mom, sis and guys from the poolroom in Leidschendam, that I still hang out with. Those people all came to Weert for my ass but for what!!???......
Finally the chairman of the Federation gave me the word and awarded me with a special pin and the title of being the first Poolplayer to be given the honourable membership to the National Billiard Federation. There's a very select few that have received this, only Dick Jaspers and Raymond Ceulemans I believe. I'm the first Dutch poolplayer to receive this award. It was and still is a shock, especially because it was such a surprise and right before the Eurotour
I gave a small speech, but was so overwhelmed that I forgot to say half of what I wanted to say of course . Great fun though and we all had a few drinks at the bar after that.
Thanks again to everybody that showed up and to all the people that have supported me so far in my career!!!!
On Thursday it was back to work. Won 2 matches over Mo Hakim 9-2 and Dennis Grabe 9-7. Didn't play my best but got through
Today at 15:30 again to qualify for the final 32. Normally that will be played on Saturday, but this time there will be one round at 21:30 tonight.
