3rd place in Austria.
Back home again after the 9hour drive back home from Rankweil/Austria.
Had a good event, should have gone a step further and go to the finals but lost in the semi's.
Started the day vs Scott Higgins. Went up 0-2 but felt a little tight. Fell behind 3-7 and had to chance tactics. Started to play more agressive and it payed off. Made it 4-7 and then Scott broke dry twice in a row. I ran out his and my racks and we were 7-7. Then I missed a chance and Scott ran out 7-8. He broke well but had to roll the 3 ball with a cutshot. He hung it, I ran out and broke and ran for the match 
Then vs young Manuel Ederer. He just beat Mark Grey in the previous round. We went 4-4 and then I pulled away and won 9-6.
Semi's vs Appleton. 0-2 to him, 3-3 and then I came into the zone. Played perfect to 7-3 and then missed a long carom shot. Darren ran some strong rack and made it 5-7. In the next I blew my chance. Pretty easy rack but missed a little stroke shot on the 3. From there the momentum switched completely and Darren made it 7-7, also by kicking in a shot. It was still my break, but I broke dry, 7-8. Got a chance in the next but had to open a 3ball cluster.
That didn't open up as planned and had to play a long safe on the 4ball. Lost the safety battle and the match 7-9. Played well so have to take that home with me.
