First round win.
Managed to squeeze by in my first match of the event. Borrowed a 314 nr 2 from the young Polish player. Crooked shaft and a rockhard tip but that's all that was available. Had to play the Jordanian player cause Serge Das lost to him.
We went 8-8 in a race to 9, alternate breaks, tapped balls but soft breaks not allowed cause got a warning when even 2 balls landed in the kitchen and I made the corner ball....
I had missed a couple of shots where the qball was on the rail and I had to avoid the scratch in the side of one rail. Needed a little spin and I missed every time with that shaft. Frustrating but had to keep playing. He missed the 7 in the final game and I could clear up the remaining balls. My cues get in this night, cause they found them in Madrid, so will pick them up from the airport tomorrow morning
