3rd and 2nd at the bootcamp in Sweden
Whaz up,
Couple of long hard days here in Sweden at the Interpool handicap event. Had to give a guy 8 games going to 11 in my first round on Fridaynight. Lost that one 8-11. Then yesterday I won 3 matches to 11 to qualify for the last 32. That was right after and won that one also. Tough handicaps so had to be sharp all the time.
The 10ball side event was right after that so more pool to come. 8 players, 1500 for first and half for second. Won my first match over a Swedish snooker player. In the semi I had to play a former European Champion from Sweden, who also has the high run in Sweden with 305 balls. He beat Raj Hundal in the round before. Good solid player, had to play well to win 8-6.
The vs Mika in the finals. He was on fire till 1-5. I came back to 3-5 and the 4ball was on it's way to the hole but rolled off at the last diamond. Down 3-7 because of that.
Ran 3 racks from there and won the next for 7-7. Last break the qball got kicked in the low corner and he ran out with a 2 rail kick on the 6 that he made after he hooked himself.
Today I won 2 matches over Swedish players with a 4 handicap and a 0 handicap in the second. Then vs Raj in the semi's. We went 5-5 when he missed a 3ball but left me frozen on the 4 of 2 rails. Hit the kick but he ran 3 racks from there. I won the next but dry break so 6-9. Won the next again but scratched on the break. He ran out and broke, made 5 balls and ran out for 7-11. Chamat beat Mika in the other semi so Raj vs Chamat in the finals.
Wasn't in top gear all weekend. Played 100 games on Saterday, which was really tough. Have to take my rest and get everyting right for Vegas. Two big events so the game and mind have to be sharp
