5th at the EC (7)ball
Howdie,
Back home after a 9hour drive back home last night. Had a solid 9ball event but made a couple of errors in the quarters. Went up 3-1 on Chinahov with 2 break and runs. Should have made it 4-2 but blew chances on the 8ball. Still made it 4-3 but then the break turned completely. I got hooked twice and he got shots after his hard break. On 5-7 I had a dry break so 5-8 and he also won the last game..
Call it a 7ball tournament cause in my opinion it has nothing to do with pool or 9ball when you tap the balls with the 1 on the spot. The corner ball is dead 1000 in a row and you make 1 or 2 more balls quite often. Safety games are very rare so run for your life sort of speak. It's very bad for the game in my opinion. Just don't understand why they don't put the 9ball on the spot just like the Eurotour, where it works very well. Would have liked to win in though cause was torturing some people the day before but just made a couple of bad mistakes in the quarters.
Nick went on to beat Chinahov 9-8 in a very exciting final so Holland takes a gold and a silver out of three disciplines 
Couple of days rest now and off to Sweden on Thursday for the 9 and 10ball tournament from Marcus Chamat. Also dj-ing there on Friday night so should be good fun
Back on Monday from that and then straight to Vegas on Tuesday
