2nd place at the GP.
Good Morning,
Played the 14.1 Grand Prix yesterday in Hengelo. Nice poolroom, hadn't been there in a long long time. Remember I played a tournament there when I was 18 or so and watched Rico Diks play Jesse Thehu in the finals 
Anyway, didn't play my A-game the entire day. Had some decent runs but was never tested until the finals vs Nick vd Berg. We had a pretty scrappy match also.
The last two 14.1 matches we had, we both ran 100+ and played 1-1 but this one was a little less. I scored poorly in 4 opportunities and eventually Nick put me out of my misery with a 56 and out. Just haven't played the game enough. If I gotta play it for a whole day, I get a little brain tired from the puzzles in the end. Not the same as 9 or 10ball.
Just have to put in some more hours again towards the Europeans. That event and the WC are still the only big events in the year for 14.1. Even heard that the WPA is gonna take the licence back for the WC event so hopefully that will still continue after this year...
Kat had a super week! She broke her high run in 14.1 to start with. It was 39 and she ran 57!! Then on Saturday she got 2nd in the 10ball event in Dijkje Duinzigt and yesterday she got 2nd in the B-ranking in Rijswijk Consistant!
